International Collaboration Fund
Date: Autumn 2026
SULSA are delighted to announce that we are involved in a third round of the RIS International Collaboration Fund which opens for applications on Monday 7th September 2026. This funding aims to promote connectivity between Scotland and Europe research partners with the aim of strengthening existing and seeding future research relationships, and creating paths to European research funding. It is open to all research disciplines and is being administered by SICSA this year.
SCALE Horizon Europe Workshops
Date: Autumn 2026
SULSA are delivering two SCALE Horizon Europe Consortia Building Workshops in September and November 2026 with partners from Ireland, Germany and Italy, funded through Scottish Enterprise and facilitated by FundtoInnovate Ltd. These two-day workshops provide training, expert call analyses and support in forming competitive consortia geared towards 2027 Horizon Europe Pillar II calls. SULSA Postdoc Prize Winners
Date: Spring 2026
Judging sessions have now taken place for our SULSA Postdoctoral Prize 2026! This prize shines a spotlight on postdoctoral researchers whose work shows outstanding potential to make an impact in the life sciences. Winners receive funding for a tour of Scottish universities to raise their profile and build networks, along with flexible funding to support their research. SULSA EC Development
Date: Spring 2026
SULSA are delighted to award eight researchers via our Early Career Development Fund! This funding aims to support researchers in their endeavors to develop their own independent academic research track via travel, training, consumable costs and facility access with up to £4,000 is available per project. With over 70 applications received the standard of applications awarded was extremely high. Check out the awarded applications via our Funded Projects page.
SCALE Horizon Europe
